We can write water entities in all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
We write municipalities in all states except Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, and West Virginia. Casualty lines are available in Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
We can write K-12 public school districts in all states except Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, llinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, New York, Texas and West Virginia.
Limited coverage is available in Arkansas, Iowa, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Casualty lines are available in Florida, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
We can write private and select religious schools (without dormitories) in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.
We can write charter schools (without dormitories) in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
We can write community and junior colleges (without dormitories) in all states except Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, New York, Texas, and West Virginia.

Reach out to your broker and let them know you'd like to explore your options with us. If you don't have a local insurance broker, just let us know and we'll be happy to help identify a good agent in your area.

Turn-around expectations:

- Does my agency need to be appointed to write with GPE?
No, Glatfelter does not require agency appointments. Any agent may write with us.
- Minium premium concerns?
While each line of business has a filed minimum, effectively, there are no minimum account sizes.
- Does your program consider Self Insured Retentions (SIRs)?
Our programs are first dollar programs, so there are no SIRs or deductibles.
- Who is the primary insurance carrier?
We are an AIG company with an A.M. Best rating of “A” (Excellent).
Several factors can affect the price of insurance. We generally take the following into consideration:
- Type of entity
- Size of property, district or building
- Population size served
- Claims history
- Your location and common risks associated with the area.
No, but we do offer premium payments on installments based on the amount of your total annual policy premiums. Your local insurance broker can also help you find an appropriate premium financing company. There is no additional fee for paying on installments.

This coverage is intended to help organizations financially respond to allegations of sexual abuse. Unless an insurance policy specifically mentions this product, it's not safe to assume it's included under general liability—so be sure to ask your agent about it.

If an insurance policy mentions “agreed value”, you and your insurer will “agree upon” the value of certain items in your facility. If these items require replacement under the conditions of the policy, you will be given that amount to help make your organization whole again..
